Total Days Abs is correct to integer, except “paid

sick leave” are correct to 0.5 and “absence due to

official commitment” is correct to 0.1

If the sick leave exceeds the eligible sick leave

balance, the system will prompt users to

separately enter 2 leave records i.e. one for “paid

sick leave” and the other one for “unpaid sick

leave”.

Users can enter the lump sum of maternity leave

by selecting maternity leave as the leave type and

create one record for the whole period of

maternity leave

If the user changes the leave period, the system

will check if the staff has been arranged to

substitute other teachers during this updated

leave period. If so, the system will prompt the

user to adjust the substitution plan.

No adjustment of substitution records is needed if

amendment is done on a past leave record.

maternity leave exceeds 28 days

total maternity leave (paid) and post-natal

leave (paid) exceeds 70 days

maternity leave (paid) exceeds 70 days

Period of paid maternity leave is confined to 70

calendar days. The user will be reminded to

create maternity leave (post-natal) if maternity
