TRANSCRIPT

1. Open your layout.

2. Click Translate and then click Write GDSII

3. The popup for Write GDSII will appear.

4. Type your layout name at IC Station Cell Names column as shown below.

5. At Output GDS File, click browse to place your GDS file.

6. Next, type your gds file name. Example: Project/Testing/Layout/hamming.gds7. Click OK.

8. You have finish write your GDS file, next is to open the GDS file. Click Translate and then click Read GDSII.

9. The popup for Read GDSII will appear.

10. At GDS File column, click Browse to search your GDS file which has been written. 11. The GDS file is look like this -> .

12. After you find your GDS file, click OK at IC Layout Object Navigator popup.

13. At GDS Cell Name, type your layout name.

14. Then, at Output Directory, click browse to place your GDS output.

15. Click OK.

16. Your GDS layout will appear.

17. Next is to copy your GDS file from linux os to your windows os. 18. Double click winscp software.

19. Insert your Host name (your server), your user name and your password.

20. The winscp popup will appear. The right column is Linux storage and the left column is your Windows storage.

21. Search your GDS file at linux storage.

22. Drag your GDS file to the right column.23. The popup will appear, click copy.

24. Your GDS file in your windows.
