Grades

Participation Participation-Students will receive 0-5 participation points each class. Points will be awarded as followed:

5-Student has all required materials, is attentive and has completed assigned work for class 4-Student has all required materials, is attentive and has partially completed assigned work for class 3-Student has all required materials and has completed the work for class, but is not attentive 2- Student has all required materials, is attentive but has not completed the assigned work for class 1-Student has all required materials, but is not attentive and has not completed the assigned work for class. 0-Student does not have required materials to participate in choir, or has an unexcused absence.

In Class Work-In class we may do worksheets or projects to reinforce learning objectives. The number of points will be outlined on the worksheet or handout, and the points will be added to the student’s participation grade.

Performance-The deduction for a missed mandatory performance, as listed above, will be 5% of the students grade for that grading period.
