YIOP ANNOUNCEMENTS Early Minyan will not meet on Mon. & Tues. It will resume at 6:15AM on Wed. Rabbi Fink’s Parshah Shiur will resume on Tues., Jan. 1, at 1:30PM.
The office will be closed from Jan. 3-Jan. 9. We will reopen on Thurs., Jan. 10.
There will be an Oneg Shabbat on Jan. 4, at 8:30PM, at the home of Howard & Margery Klausner, 16264 Sherfield Pl., in Sfld. Rabbi Yechiel Bresler will give a short drashah during this “meet & greet” opportunity.
There will be a Women’s Tea on Shabbat afternoon, Jan. 5, at 3:45PM, at the home of Ben & Lizzy Doppelt, (13364 Wales, in HW). Rebbetzin Davina Bresler will give a shiur.
There will be a Melave Malka on Sat. night, Jan. 5 (for YIOP members) at 8PM, at YIOP.
Rabbi Leib & Rabbi Belsky’s Beit Midrash classes will resume on Jan. 7,at 8PM.

Save the Date- the Shabbat of Jan. 18-19, Dr. Yael Ziegler will be our Scholar-in– Residence. She is one of the featured authors in the most recent Jewish Action magazine. On Fri. night, there will be an Oneg Shabbat at the home of Dov & Esther Sherizen (26041 Radclift Pl., in OP), at 8:30PM. Dr. Ziegler will speak on “Yitro & Moshe: An Extraordinary Friendship.”
Shabbat Lunch, Jan. 19 following Shacharit. Reservations are required. Cost: $10 member/$36 member family, $15 non member/$50 non member family. RSVP by Jan. 14 by calling 248 967-3655 or email Julie@yiop.org. Babysitting will be available during the lunch. Dr. Ziegler will speak on “Manna & Bread-Yitziat Mitzrayim & Ancient Egypt.”
On Sat. Night, Jan. 19, we will have a Melave Malka, at 8PM. Dr. Ziegler will speak on “Ruth-From Alienation To Monarchy.”
The dinner committee will meet on Thurs., Jan. 10, at 8PM, at YIOP. If you would like to join the dinner committee (dinner will be on March 10), please contact Shoshana Katz, at shoshanakatz@yahoo.com or just come to the meeting.
We will be honoring our High School Seniors at our annual dinner, on Sunday, March 10. If you have a child that will be graduating High School this year, please send call the office with his/her name, or email julie@yiop.org.

YOUTH CORNER Mini Minyan: Children up to 5 years old are welcome to join our Mini Minyan in the infant/toddler room with weekly programming, at 10:15AM, led by Sarah Mizrahi. Youth Groups: Children in 1st - 6th grades will have weekly davening and fun in the social hall starting at 9:30AM. The children will be divided into multiple groups & play will be led and organized by teenage youth leaders and our new interim youth director Sarah Shaw. Teens: Teens in 7th grade & up are encouraged to participate in our Teen Minyan, which will meet bimonthly in the board room. The Teen Minyan is supervised by Rabbi Asher Nemes who can be contacted at asher.nemes@farberhds.org for questions about volunteering or kiddush sponsorship. The next teen minyan will meet on Jan. 12, at 9:20AM.
