SUPPER & WORSHIP Wednesdays 6:30 p.m. 2406 Broadway - Christ in Action Student Center We enjoy a home-cooked meal with good friends. Then, in a simple way, we pause in the mid-week to worship, and to take the ways of Jesus to heart.

Sunday, August 30
If the "dog days" of summer keep reminding you of the leash one feels around his/her neck when serving as a caregiver, then come join the group who understands both the joys and the sorrows connected with being the responsible party for a loved one suffering from emotional or physical
impairment. Many of our members continue to come, even after losing their loved ones to death, just to be an encouragement to others. A warm, nurturing environment where venting is not only allowed but encouraged makes a caregiver feel less alone (and, at times, less incompetent in this challenging role). This month's meeting will be at 3:00 today, August 02, in the church library. For further information, contact KAY EVANS at 799-8610.
Friday, August 28 at 7:00 p.m. Premiere Cinema in the South Plains Mall
Broadway has reserved 200 tickets for the opening night (Aug. 28) of this amazing family friendly Christian movie. We encourage you to
invite your friends and neighbors to watch this movie with you. Tickets are $6 each and can be purchased from the church office, on the Broadway webpage, or at the WayStation on Sunday mornings.
Louise Hagood, long time member of Broadway, passed away, Sunday, July 26. Her memorial service will be Tuesday, Aug 4 at Resthaven Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Louise was 96 years old.
