AOSEC is the regional organisation representing Further Education Colleges in South East England. 

We work with colleges and partner organisations to provide world-class education and skills in the post compulsory education and training sector

South East Colleges Key Facts

• The total College income in the South East is £1.1 billion

• 320,000 students on Further and Higher Education provision in Colleges

• Educate 9,000 students from outside the UK

• 55% of all Foundation Degree students are taught in Colleges

South East Colleges Key Facts

• Ethnic minority students make up 13% of students in South East Colleges, compared with 9% of the population of the South East

• 9,000 South East College students are aged over 60

• 76% of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) students in the South East study at a College
