Description of Wappingers Junior High School
• Almost 850 Students• Separate 7th Grade House of Students• Separate 8th Grade House of Students• Each house includes four teams of teachers and
students• 7th/8th grade-four teams of four teachers each at
the 7th and 8th grade levels for: – English-Language Arts– Math– Science– Social Studies
School Day
• School begins at 7:50am and ends at 2:42pm
• Students driven to school may enter the building at 7:35am and can wait in cafeteria until 7:50am
• Breakfast is served in cafeteria• Students are allowed off the bus and can
enter the school at 7:50am
