Jake Romig, York County Circuit Rider, Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay About the York County Circuit Rider Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay - The purpose of the Circuit Rider is to facilitate implementation through the engagement of local governments and stakeholders. Topic - Jake will discuss the York County initiative to be proactive in dealing with upcoming watershed regulations affecting all levels of local government, agriculture, and residents. He will specifically discuss actions underway with a TMDL workgroup that is being recognized across the State. He will also discuss his ability to partner with municipalities, as a circuit rider, to provide assistance in grant applications and watershed planning. In all of these efforts he will stress the relevancy to local water quality and quality of life.
