The bride – ultra-talented cake designer Faye Cahill – chose unexpected sweet details as stand out features of the day. The croquembouche and macaroon tower were made by a close friend in the cake industry, Jean Michel Raynaud of Baroque Bistro, and the Norwegian kransekake made by Faye’s sister, Maree was placed on top of an iced cake by Mavournee Georgeson from Faye Cahill Cake Design. The couple’s guests took home a piece of each cake in a miniature cake box – a sweet ending to a perfect day.

The daytime reception set the stage for a contemporary green and white palette. The couple steered away from traditional wedding styling by using handmade and quirky elements like the gorgeous white wrought iron animal figurines which added a hint of fun to their decorating style.

details that were important to them, with family members all contributing. On arrival each guest was served a glass of French Champagne with a ‘Here’s Cheers!’ swing-tag,
Richard’s father made the unique timber plinths to showcase the stunning floral arrangements, and Lee’s mother helped make
wands for guests to wave as the happy couple walked down the
aisle as husband and wife.

individual style The entire wedding had a simple,
classic style with a quirky, modern edge. The bride, a
designer, wanted every aspect of the day to have their ‘stamp’ –
a true reflection of the couple. They used their own vintage Vespa to carry the programs to their ceremony location.

The bride, a floral stylist and owner of ‘Green and Bloom’ showed off her talents in every detail
of the wedding day. The ceremony was beautifully decorated with flower garlands adorning the aisle,
vintage teapots and bird cages filled with a mix of seasonal flowers. Eclectic vintage props and brightly coloured spring blooms created
a fun, romantic ambiance for the day.

Matt and Roberta both love antiques and things made in the
1950s and 1960s so they thought it fitting to have a ‘vintage classic’
