Precision Reading Volunteers Needed

We are looking for volunteers who would be interested in working with students

from grades 2 – 9 in our Precision Reading Program.

Precision Reading is a research-based reading strategy that is daily, but short, (5

minutes) and improves students’ reading abilities. Volunteers would be needed in the

mornings, anytime between 9:00 and 11:00 AM.

If you think you might be interested in volunteering with this valuable program, please

contact Mrs. Shaw-Dearden at shaw-deardenj@fsd38.ab.ca by Monday October 15. In

your email, please include your home and cell phone numbers.

Training will be offered for all of our parent readers and we’ll be in touch with that

date after we have a list of volunteers.

Thank you so much and we look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Jennifer Shaw-Dearden Learning Coach 2018-19 Red Deer Lake School 403-938-5984
