Jesus is Alive

We're so glad that you are with us today to celebrate Resurrection Sunday. This is the day when we celebrate that the horrors of Good Friday were not the end. God raised Jesus to life on the third day.

We pray that you will know that Resurrection Power in your life as we worship the Risen One today.

Pray for Kids on the Hill and Youthside. Pray for the conflict in Ukraine.

Pray that God will provide for all our needs in this challenging time.

Pray for those who are seriously ill and for those who need healing.

Pray for all those who are on holiday. May they have a restful and relaxing time.

Thank God for giving his son for our sins.

Marriage CourseHillside Church would like to hold a Marriage Course in the next few months hopefully starting in May.

Regular check-ups help a car run smoothly and reduce the risk of breakdown. The best sports professionals spend hours being coached and perfecting their technique. The greatest achievements in life take practice, training and dedication.

It is the same with marriage. A strong, loving and lifelong relationship doesn’t happen by chance. It takes effort and dedication to keep the fun and romance alive. We can all learn how to make even the happiest marriage better.

If you are a married couple or a couple who are committed to each other, please let either Richard or Lynda know if you would be interested in joining.

Prayer MinistryFor those who have expressed an interest in the Prayer Ministry Team we will hold a 2nd training evening in the on the 23rd April at 8pm at Hillside Church

57 Words that changed the WorldNext Sunday we will start our new series where we will spend some weeks considering the most famous prayer of all time. In particular we will be praying it and inviting our community to send their prayer requests to us.

Men’s EventA few of the Hillside men are looking in to going and playing some golf at Coombe Hill Golf Club. There are a couple of options. One would be to tee off at around four in the afternoon which would mean a early finish for those in the office, taking advantage of the extended evening daylight hours, or the second option would be to tee off on Sunday mid afternoon.

Please could let Mike (mscl46@gmail.com or 07725123346) know if you are interested in playing a four ball by the 30th of April. The men are hoping to organise this before the end of May.

Today the KOTH will continue with its programme in the Prayer Room. Please remember to collect your children after the service.
