Dedicated to the memory of Dr. Bryant H. Trewyn,

physician ~ Peoria’s South Side president of the District 150

Board of Education.

1900 - 1942

Epitaph

No man was better known or more popular in this city than was Dr. Trewyn. Of genial personality, keen perception, and high character, he founded his success on his own hard work. Public spirited and devoted to the general good of the community, he proved a loyal and able citizen, whose distinguished services to Peoria will be a monument to his memory.

One of the Best

Located on a 15-acre lot, the two-story buff, brick and stone structure is 483 feet across the front end and 387 feet wide. The building houses standard classrooms, industrial arts shops, home economics laboratories, art and craft laboratories, library, band room, cafeteria, music rooms, typing laboratory, and science laboratories.
