Procedures for EDAP Tuition ReimbursementHigh level overview:

o Create log-in www.tamsonline.org/Dell o Fill out form within 30 days of programo Submit to manager for “procedural” approvalo System says student’s good to take the programo Submit paperwork after class is finished.o Once docs reviewed/approved, the funds will be released to Dell Payroll.

Here are the steps: Direct your web browser to: http://tamsonline.org/dell

Login by entering your User Name (this is your 6digit Dell employee badge ID#, 5digit or less for older folks) and password, then click on “Login”.

o If this is your first time logging on or have forgotten your password: Please click on “Login Help.” for more information A new screen will then pop-up for your Dell email address: please use

first.lastname@dell.com. Underscore doesn’t work. A temporary password will then be sent to your email so that you can create your account.

On the home screen My Learning Center, click on: “Add New Application”

Step 1: Add Program Information:a. Click on Edit under Education Information

b. Select Program: Tuition Reimbursement Program

c. Select Provider: Dale Carnegie and Associates Inc (Saint Charles, MO)

d. Select Next after confirming that you have the correct Education Information (Provider Code: T80399; 2240 Bluestone Drive, Saint Charles, MO 63303)

e. Please leave the student ID blank. They’ll be assigned later when you receive transcript, so please leave it blank.

Step 2: Add Course Informationa. Education Program: Individual Coursesb. Field of Study: Organizational Leadership. Can also put Business,

General Studies, etc.c. Insert the Course Start Date: Enter your program dates. d. Insert the Course End Date Enter your program dates. e. Are you graduating this term: No

Under the Course Information Section, click on “Add Course”a. Enter the Course#: (Scroll to final page for your course name and #)b. Enter the Course Name: Enter your Program Name (see below)c. Tuition Amount: $1,670.00d. Credit Hours: This does not have to be insertede. TAX QUESTIONS: EdAssist may ask you several tax questions. Answers will vary depending on your individual situation. (Please note that we are not permitted to advise you on the answers to these tax-related questions).

Under the Expense Information Section, there are no additional expenses so there is nothing to submit.

Once Step 2 is complete, click “Next” on the bottom of the screen

Step 3: AgreementsUnder the Grants & Scholarships Disclosure Section select “None” for the Question related to Grant/Scholarships received.

Then read and agree to the Participation Agreement before moving on to Step 4. After agreeing to the Participation Agreement, type your name, click “Next” on the bottom of the screen.

Step 4 Review and SubmitPlease make sure to Click on “Submit” at the bottom of the screen

You will be emailed a confirmation after selecting the “Submit” button. If you don’t get that immediately, you can check the dashboard and it will show submitted under application status. If for some reason, you can’t submit, please use Edge or Firefox browser. For some people have said, IE 11 won’t work.

Once it gets approved, it should go to your manager. You’ll be copied on an email to your manager, asking them to approve it. Your manager can use the link provided on the email and use their badge as login. please ask them to use first.lastname@dell.com. Underscore doesn’t work.

Once this is complete, you will receive an auto response email from EdAssist indicating approval to attend the course. Turnaround time could be as short as 1-2 days.

Return to step 5, after graduating from the program. You’ll receive transcript and receipt from DC&A. For docs to upload, preferred formats are pdf, tif and jpg.

Step 5 Graduate & Submit Docs

Log-in and on the home screen My Learning Center, click on: “My Dashboard”

You’ll then see…

a. Click on the application # to upload/submit your documents

b. Click on “Submit Documents”

c. Then input the following: a. Document Type: Gradesb. Upload your transcriptc. Comments: e.g. below.d. Input Grade: select P (pass)

d. Please make sure to Click on “Submit” at the bottom of the screen

Repeat b, c & d for uploading Proof of Payment. Can submit 1 document at a time.

The screen should look like this:

Once the supporting documents have been reviewed and approved, the funds will be released to Dell Payroll. FYI. Sometimes it could take up to 2 pay cycles, so check your internal pay information for updates.
