MY PLEDGE:

I am a teacher. I work and get paid to TEACH you!

I do not strive to be your friend. I will respect you, encourage you, and try to be a “sunny” spot in your day.

I pledge to you that I will do the best I can to teach you U.S. History, prep you for the EOC so you can graduate, and lead by example.

WITH THAT BEING SAID…. I cannot teach you when social media, texting, breakups,

arguments, or romance is your main focus. I will ask that you turn in your phone every day to the

front of the room with the phone OFF. Not on vibrate, silence, or anything that lights up.

You can pick up your cell phone on the way out of my room after dismissed.

I will put my phone up to teach. This is hard for me too! *special conditions* *consequences* Starting….NOW!

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY!

Attendance – I cannot teach you if you are not here!

Attitude- There is nothing better than a good attitude!

Willingness to help others learn. Following school rules on a daily basis.

Rudeness Disrespectful language Disrespect for others Having to discipline a junior in high

school because he/she is keeping others in my room from learning. This is a big one.

Please expect to decorate your interactive notebooks in the class time provided.

Collage the front and back. Bookmarker Packing tape the front and back.
