AES TimeAES time is a 30 minute block of time for enrichment and intervention based on student need. This means that groups and interventions will change throughout the year.

Grading Scale

S: 80-100N: 70-79U: 0-69

If your child is in an accelerated class, he/she will receive numeric grades.

Report CardsReport Cards will be sent every 9 weeks, and Progress Skills Checklists will be sent 3 times during the year.

Homework• Reading 15 minutes nightly. Can be done independently

or with support.

• Language Arts: Periodic Grammar worksheets

• Math: “My Math” homework pages to review concepts; Flash Cards to practice fluency for addition/subtraction

• Science/Social Studies: Periodic projects

• Please check your child’s daily/homework folder for important notes and papers.

Transportation Changes

Please send a note in the daily folder if your child is going home a different way. Please do not send an email for this. If I am absent, or there is a computer glitch, I will not get it.
