WELCOMING SPRINGKOZJE PRIMARY SCHOOL, MARCH 2017

1st, 2nd and 3rd grade� They got to know the typical flowers for spring. They experienced spring with

all their senses; they touched the soil, they listened to the wind, the birds

and the bees, they observed the changing colors and felt the warmth of the

sun on their skin as well as the breeze.

4th grade� Students visited the Gruska cave and got to know

its flora and fauna.

5th and 6th gradeWelcoming spring by browsing through literature and looking

for songs, riddles, sayings and making of the real ‘Green

George‘.

7th grade

Visiting the ecological farm, the meadow orchard and making a hotel for the wild

bees.

8th grade� Visited the mechanical and biological

wastewater treatment plant.

Also visited the

waste sorting centre

and even had a

small cleaning

action.

9th grade� Researched the endangered animal and plant species of the local

environment. Got to know Natura 2000 and how to protect ecosystems. They

used computers to create posters which formed the exhibition of the animal

species of the local area.
