What is Glow?
• Glow is the world's first national intranet for education, developed exclusively for Scotland’s educational community.
• Breaking geographical and social barriers, Glow allows joined-up working the length and breadth of Scotland.
What is Glow?
• Glow has been produced through funding from the Scottish Government and Learning Teaching Scotland
• Glow can be accessed via the LTS websitehttp://www.ltscotland.org.uk/usingglowandict/index.asp
What does this mean?• Pupils can access the internet, learning
resources and develop their ICT skills in a SAFE environment
• Staff can access educational software, online resources to enhance education
• Parents can feel secure that their son/daughter are learning in a SAFE environment
• In the future parents will be able to access information via Glow that is being used in school
