Why would you want to do that?● The admin enabled you for roaming (no roaming data on server yet) and you

do not want to be prompted for any roaming processing.● The admin registers you as a roaming user and wants to set up a client

without going through roaming setup.● The (power) user is already roaming on a machine and wants to disable

roaming.● The (power) user is already roaming (has roaming data on the server) and

8.5.2: ● Additional controls for creating and

managing Administrative Accounts for use in centrally deploying Eclipse-based features and plug-ins

● Most specifically Lotus Connections and Lotus Sametime but also any Eclipse-based plug-in.

This is an administrative enhancement that simplifies the Notes user's use of sidebar applications such as Connections and Sametime by enabling the administrator to push certain values, for example Connections server name and address, to users based on policy and/or the install kit (deploy.nsf).

77

79

Specify the source of business card informationBy default, the business card is populated with data from the products in the following order:

● Lotus Connections● Lotus Sametime● Lotus Notes

You can either change the order or prevent a source from being used.

To change the order, specify the following in

<Notes>/framework/rcp/ plugin_ customization.ini ● com.ibm.rcp.bizcard/change.priority.for.NotesContacts=G● com.ibm.rcp.bizcard/change.priority.for.profiles=E● com.ibm.rcp.bizcard/change.priority.for.com.ibm.lconn.client.bizcard.livename=C

Use letters that come later in the alphabet to specify higher priority products and letters that come earlier in the alphabet to specify products with a lower priority. For example, a priority of A is lower than a priority of B.

To prevent one of the products from being the source of the business card data, add the following property:

com.ibm.rcp.bizcard/disable.content.for.<provider_ name>=true

where <provider_ name> is one of the following values:

● Lotus Connections: profiles● Lotus Notes: NotesContacts● Lotus Sametime: com.ibm.lconn.client.bizcard.livename

80

See the pretty sailboat icon for the application icon

Last by not least: Pretty icons!!

81

●Admin or app dev adds the pretty icon using Domino Designer

Choose an image resource. Can be .gif, .png

82

You can replace or remove your new icon
