Introducing!

The New!

(and Improved)

Website!

It makes finding what

you need MUCH easier.

First, let me show you a few links that are

always in the same spot.

These quick links take you to our

most popular pages in one

click.

You’ll find them at the bottom of

every page on the site.

Now, let’s look at the navigation

button.

From any page, click:

The Apple

The Power ButtonThe People

to go to different home pages.

Just like on the old page,

we list the latest news.

Now, we also

include upcoming events.

Let’s take a look at the News drop-down menu.

Clicking News lets you scroll

through the latest

stories.

Clicking Events

Calendar opens a

calendar view of activities.

Stay Connected features all the tools

that keep you in touch with INFOhio.

The About drop-down

menu contains lots of useful

links.

Use the How We Can Help page when you need to show people

how to get started with the services INFOhio offers.

This is a “slider.” Each of the eight pictures on the slider

features a different service.

For example, this one features the Third Grade Reading Guarantee…

…while this one discusses how INFOhio supplies equal access to

digital tools.

Here’s the new staff

page with all our

smiling faces.

Just click a button to

send us an email.

Our new site is mobile friendly and automatically adjusts to the size of your screen.

(This is how the page looks on a mobile phone.)

One more thing before we move on.

The site uses the standard mobile navigation menu on smaller

screens.

Now let’s move from the main home page to

the home page for Students &

Parents.

Click the power button.

Then click the people icon.

If you are logged in, the student page looks like this.

If you are not logged in, the page looks like this.

You have options for logging in.

If you’re at school, click the green button to see if

INFOhio can recognize where

you’re sitting.

If you’re at home and you

know the username and password, just

enter them here.

If you’re at home and DON’T know the username and password, click in the purple box.

Then fill in these blanks and click

Get My Password.

If your district has a username and

password, it appears as shown

here. Otherwise, the state

username and password appear.

Let’s take a look at the

PreK-5 Student page.

As on the old site, it features just

tools appropriate for PreK-5.

Notice that Beginning

Readers tools are featured here on the

right.

This is the Parent Page.

Here’s another slider. This one

explains INFOhio to parents.

Parents can also find Homework

Help and tips for choosing

“just right” books.

Now, let’s take a look at the

Educator Home Page.

Click the people icon.

Then click the apple

icon.

This is the Educator Home

Page.

Notice that the most popular

tools are available from these boxes.

Everything else is available from the Menu Bar.

Click Professional

Development to see a list of all

our training options.

Let’s take a look at a new feature

on the ICoach page.

The regional map is now interactive.

Click on a region to find the ICoaches who work with schools in that

area.

The list appears automatically.

Click the orange

button to send the ICoach an

email.

This is the Tools &

Resources drop-down menu.

It takes you to all of our tools for teachers and

students.

These little arrows mean

that you go to a new

site when you click the link.

Now, let’s move on to the Library Staff home page.

We’ve added feeds of Toolkit Updates,

Handbook Updates, and Quick Tips.

Speaking of the

handbook, here’s its

new format.

Click any of the major

headings to drill down into that section.

For example, here is

circulation documentation

.

Finally, let’s look at the

new Toolkit.

Notice the categories

have changed.

Slides and flyers that were under

Common Core

are now in Presentations and in Flyers.

This is the flyer page.

As before you can download a version with the state username

and password

Or with blanks for you to enter your district’s username and

password.

Thank you for watching!
