ROBINSON, MICHAEL PEER,66, passed away peace-ful on Wednesday, April18, 2012 in hospice withfamily present in Van-couver, WA, after suc-cumbing to complica-tions of cancer.

Michael was born Au-gust 9, 1945 in San Fran-cisco, CA to John andKatherine Robinson; hewas the eldest of three

brothers. He served in the Navy and laterworked several jobs, most notably as a com-puter programmer. His interests were numer-ous and varied, and toward the end of his lifeincluded computers, Spanish, creating virtualworlds in the Second Life computer environ-ment, motorcycling, gardening, and caring forhis pets. His pets included a large, fluffyMaine Coon named Tigger, who lived withhim for over a dozen years, and a Jack RussellTerrier named Ralph.

He is survived by his wife, Patty Robinson ofLima, Peru; his son, John Robinson of Louis-ville; his brothers, Robert Robinson of Sacra-mento, CA and Peter Robinson of BattleGround, WA; and his dog, Ralph.

SCHUSTERMAN, LEE “SUG” CONN,71, peaceful ly passedaway on May 2, 2012,after a brief illness.

A native of Kentucky,she graduated Phi BetaKappa from Eastern NewMexico University. Rep-resenting New Mexico shewas a finalist in the MissAmerica Pageant.While living in New Yorkshe had a long career in

the fashion industry representing such notabledesigners as Karl Lagerfeld, Ungaro and LuisFéruad. After years of extended internationaland domestic business travel, she returned toher beloved Kentucky in the mid 1980's andworked in corporate development for theLouisville Theatrical Association and wasdirector of Community/Public Relations forthe Camberly Brown Hotel.

Best known for her philanthropic service tomany Louisville arts and health agencies, atvarious times she served on the boards of theKentucky Center for the Performing Arts,Kentucky Opera, Louisville Ballet, LouisvilleTheatrical Association, and American RedCross. She was a member of the FincastleChapter of the Daughters of the AmericanRevolution.

With her husband Dan she chaired theKentucky Opera's Hard Scuffle Steeplechasefor two years. She also chaired the LouisvilleAntique Show, the Louisville Theatrical Asso-ciation's Phantom of the Opera Ball, raisedrecord-breaking funds for the 2005 KentuckyDerby Museum Gala, and as co-chair for thecapital campaign for the Louisville Deaf OralSchool raised over $8 million to build a newschool and create the Heuser Hearing Institute.She also served as a member of the board ofthe Institute and as its chairman for severalyears.

She was the recipient of the Deep RootsAward for community service in 2004 and sheand Dan received the Child Advocate ofthe Year Award in 2005 from CASA (CourtAppointed Special Advocates).

Sug will always be remembered for her gen-erosity from the heart. She was a loyal friend,always willing to give of herself and to serve.She was gentle and kind to everyone she met.Her touch, her smile, her laughter endeared herto all. She accomplished much in her life butnothing was greater than her joy of living andcaring.

She was the daughter of the late William"Bill" and Elizabeth "Ella" Wilhoyte Conn ofCrestwood, KY and Coral Gables, FL.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel E. M.Schusterman; stepsons, Mark (Barbara), Kurt(Adrienne), Eric and Richard Schusterman;stepdaughter, Pam Roddy; and grandchildren,Nikki Cupolo and Asher, Elizabeth, Torreyand Natalie Schusterman.

The family wishes to express its deep andsincere appreciation for the loving care Sugreceived from the Hospice nurses; EricaBlack; and friends, Carol Lomicka and LibbyParkinson.

SENN, ROBERT J. “BOB,”89, died May 2, 2012peacefully at home withhis loving family by hisside.

He was a retired farmer,builder and real estatedeveloper, an avid cardplayer, and a member ofSt . Peter the Apost leCatholic Church (for-merly Our Lady of Con-solation).

He was preceded in death by his son, JackTimothy Senn.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 68years, Lemmah (Bracey) Senn; his children:Judy Corbett (Ken), Bob Senn (Rita), JanetGay Chalfant (Jack), Dan Senn (Toni), JennyHall (John) and Jack’s wife, Vickie Senn;eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren;and one great-great-grandchild; sisters:Rosalie Foushee (Larry) and Virginia “Jen”Wallace (Jerry); and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m.Monday at St. Peter the Apostle CatholicChurch, 5431 Johnsontown Road with burialin St. Andrew Cemetery. Visitation will befrom 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Owen Funeral Home,5317 Dixie Highway.

Anna Ruth Ray wasborn in Sirocco, KY onMarch 16, 1923 to herparents, Agnes BessiePike and William Jen-nings Ray. She was a1941 graduate of the Fla-herty Boarding School.In 1948, Anna marriedPaul O'Bryan and they

started their life together, first in Louisville andthen in Webster Valley, KY before making theirlongtime home on a farm in Ekron, KY. Overthe next 40 years, Anna and her husband estab-lished themselves in the Meade County farmingcommunity, raising their family of six children.They were very active members of the St. Johnthe Apostle Parish in Brandenburg, KY. Annaalso worked professionally as a property bookofficer for the Federal Government at the Ft.Knox Army Base and after retiring with 31years of service, she was very involved in theNational Association for Retired Federal Em-ployees (NARFE). After the death of her be-loved husband of 50 years, Anna relocated in2006 to Brownsboro Park Retirement Commu-nity in Louisville.

Anna lived her life dedicated to her faith in theLord Jesus Christ and her Roman Catholic tra-dition, especially her devotion to Mary, theBlessed Mother. She dearly loved her family,especially each and every one of those grand-children, and her many friends she made alonglife's journey. She loved to laugh and be sur-rounded by people no matter the occasion but,she was also committed and hardworking in ev-erything she did. Anna leaves a legacy ofChristian faith and Biblical values that her lovedones will cherish forever. Proverbs 31:28 "Herchildren arise and call her blessed."

Anna was preceded in death by her husband,Francis Paul O'Bryan; three sisters, Sister Rosa-ria (Catherine) Ray, Margaret Mills, and Mar-tha Jean Tate; and two brothers, James (Jay)Ray and Edward Ray.

She is survived by her sister, Patsy Ray; broth-er, Pat Ray; and her six children, Paula Clark(Jim), Gary O'Bryan (Debbie), Mary Haupt(Craig), Keith O'Bryan (Susan), Kevin O'Bryan,and John O'Bryan (Jonna). She was also blessedwith 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchil-dren.

Anna's life and faith will be celebrated at aCatholic Mass conducted at St. John the Apos-tle Church, 515 Broadway, Brandenburg, KY, at11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2012. Visitationwill be held at Hager Funeral Home, 633 BlandStreet, Brandenburg 40108 on Monday, May 7,2012, from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on Tues-day, May 8, from 8-10:45 a.m.
