These tools include visual brand audits, perception and information audits, visual brand strategy, brand positioning strategy, brand essence development and idea generation.

These initiatives include drops, banners, exhibitions, direct mail, print media, e-mail promotions , social media campaigns and PR campaigns - all aimed at ensuring recall and highlighting the features of products and services.

DIGITAL DESIGNWhitespace applies the principles of design and branding to various media platforms. The digital media has become one with design, requiring all design thinking to be applied in a digital environment. Whitespace translates its designs to templates, e-mail signatures,websites, apps, mobile technology, Facebook and e-commerce.

ILLUSTRATIONWhitespace offers illustrations in both the traditional and digital sense. These techniques are often used in conjunction in an endeavour to cross boundaries to integrate and enhance graphic design, typography and photography. Illustrations are now a significant factor in the design industry and are applied across disciplines.

PHOTOGRAPHYWhitespace offers in-house photographic skills having employed designers who have been educated and skilled in photography. This capability has become pivotal in our ability to address a variety of company and client needs within limited time frames and budget.

FINANCIAL REPORTING, PUBLISHINGWhitespace has an acute understanding of the importance of financial reports and uses these crucial and widely read documents to communicate brand essence and create intrigue; consequently optimizing the investment necessitated to produce the report. Whitespace specifically offers design, production and publication of annual financial reports, interim reports, financial announcements, prospectus design, financial notices and brand manual design.

PUBLIC RELATIONS, MEDIA RELATION & CORPORATE AWARENESSWhitespace offers services aimed at increasing public, consumer, media and corporate awareness. These services range from traditional public relations to managing Facebook sites, newsletters and general media relations. Our writing services range from copywriting for brochures, websites and newsletters to compiling proposals and similar documents for submissions.

PRODUCTION MANAGEMENTMost designs require a form of production. This includes printing, product sourcing, collation, distribution and programming. Whitespace offers its clients the option to appoint Whitespace to manage the final production of the design created as a turnkey project or alternatively, we offer a consulting service to the client in respect of supervising suppliers and the production of designs.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENTResponsible and effective account management is imperative in ensuring the outcome of a successful design project. Whitespace interacts with all parties involved in order to ensure the seamless management of the project from brief to post-production.

Whitespace is the space that surrounds a design. The space in which there is no obvious design, the space that is in fact is a design element itsef and argueably the most crucial of all design elements.

Good design elements should be a given, only great design will help create and build great brands. Great design requires more than just good design elements.

Great design considers the context in which the design lives. Context is often whitespace. Whitespace should be designed and created, not prescribed.

Creating whitespace starts with understaning then creating strategy and building an idea. Only great design will stand the test of time and only great design will add real value to clients.
