The WIKI-SPRINT team has been working from May 6th-10th in the frame of Mapping Festival.
Our objective was the improvement of articles covering the artistic practice of VJing (audio-visual performance) in the English and French versions of Wikipédia.
Le Wiki-Sprint a visé l’amélioration et l’expansion de ces articles, par la recherche et la classification de sources, la production d’images sous licence libre.

The Wiki-Sprint has worked towards the improvement and expansion of those articles, through the research and classification of primary sources, and the production of images under an open licence.
La méthode que nous employons est celle du “book-sprint”, dérivé du “code-sprint” pratiqué dans la communauté du logiciel libre, et consiste à réunir un groupe de contributeurs motivés pour cinq journées d’écriture intensive.
