data system to track child outcomes and improve decision-making

WI statutes require establishment of a P20 longitudinal data system (LDS)

Create comprehensive data system to tell us:◦ Are children on track to succeed when they enter

school?◦ Which children are served by which programs?◦ What program characteristics result in positive

child outcomes for which children?◦ Which children have access to high quality EC

programs?◦ What are the education and economic returns on

EC investments?

Analyze current EC data environment July 2011 - July 2012

Establish data sharing methodologies, including unique child identifier
