Tessa SnowLife Lived Through A Bucket List. . .

My bucket list started in my hometown of

Colorado Springs, Colorado

Though I was able to accomplished a

few bucket list items in Colorado Springs,

after high school graduation I

decided to check of. . . .

✔️ Bucket List Item #5:

Attend a four year university

At CU Boulder I am….

• A third year student

• Majoring in Communications

• Earning a secondary education English teaching certificate

However. . .Furthering my education was made possible only through. . .

Being selected as a 2013

Daniels Fund Scholar

Through being part of the CU community I

have been able to check off quite a few bucket

list items. . .

✔️ Bucket List Item #58:Volunteer at a local school

I have been able to do this through the I Have A Dream (IHAD) community at Casey Middle School.

At Casey middle school I have also been able to

observe teaching in an 8th grade classroom

✔️ Bucket List Item #16:Join a club on campus

On campus I am part of. . .

• The CU Division of National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE)

• On the CU board of NCTE I serve as the publicity chair

✔️ Bucket List Item #28:

Join a sorority

Since 2013, I have been a proud

member of the Alpha Phi sorority

Through the friendships I have made in Alpha Phi I

was presented the opportunity to . . .

✔️ Bucket List Item #29:

Work abroad

Summer of 2014 I worked at a youth summer camp in Ripoll, Spain

After experiencing the rich culture in

Spain, I now have a desire to connect to a variety of cultures and people around

the world

I hope to one day check these off:

• #42. Study abroad

• #92. Teach at a school abroad

• #37. Take my mom on a Europe vacation
