As little girls, we know we are beautiful. We just feel it. Mirrors

are places where we smile and twirl and sparkle.

But somewhere along the way, that smile becomes a little

frown and a critical eye. We turn to make-up and we conceal,

we mask, we distract. As if beauty is only an illusion. A bag of

tricks. Something we conjure, not something we feel.

My name is Tanzila. I’m a makeup artist.

I see your beautiful self and I’ll show you make-up that simply

reveals it.

I had also come up with some packaging to show to the client, to help create a better understanding of the new brand.

TYPOGRAPHY_

Here’s a typographic project I did, where the brief was to create a CD cover. Also including a lot of hand drawn images, and print work.

DAWAH PACK_

This is a collaboration work I did with the East London Mosque (Largest in the UK), it was for a user friendly pack tohand out to everyone who came to visit the mosque on open days. This was my idea I had come up with, and approachedthem later on. I thought its something I can give back to the community using my knowledge on graphic communication.

Here is how the final pack looked like; it consisted on a Calendar, Informative Postcards, 4 Small Booklets about Islam,Bag, Badge and finally a detailed book about The East London Mosque.

This was another branding project, where I had designed a new shop front for a gym orientated restaurant.

APP DESIGN_

This was a project I did during my own time, it initially started off as an idea I had after a visit to Thorp Park. Where I experienced crazy queues, not only did it waste a large portion of everyones day, it also made everyone sweaty and angry whilst they waited. The idea I had come up with was to book rides in advance, and turn up when it’s your turn. It’s convenient and saves a lotof time. Making everyone’s experience a lot more fun and time efficient, it also included other smart features.

Here are a variety of different logos I have designed for various different businesses. This was a massive step for me as I didn’t know what to lookout for when creating a logo.

MENU DESIGN_

This is a menu I had recently designed for a restaurant. Always thinking about the print ready file as it had to be turned around urgently. Gold foiling was a brilliant touch as it really set it off.
