Morning Procedures Before School

Before coming to school, empty backpack and add the following items:

• Several bottles of water.• Hat (optional but highly recommended)• Sunglasses (optional but highly

recommended).• Sack lunch with non-perishable food items.• Pencil• Money (optional for drinks and snacks).• Wear sunscreen and comfortable walking

shoes.

Beginning of School

•First Bell, report to your second period class for attendance. •Departure time is at 8:45. Buses are assigned.

Bus Rules•Cell phones turned off and in backpack. Just like at school.•You will be sitting with your group and chaperone.•No gum or food allowed.•Water is a great idea. Stay Hydrated.

Zoo Procedures: Arrival time 9:30ish

• Must stay with your group at all times.• Respect your chaperone and all zoo

rules and regulations.• Consequences for not following the

rules: removed and sent to a teacher group or administrator. • No wandering off on your own.• Chaperones will build in bathroom

breaks.

Lunch Procedures:

• Eat when your chaperone decides. • Follow your chaperone to the

designated lunch area. • Clean up after you eat.

Departing Zoo

•Go to the bathroom before leaving.•No purchases can be made at the gift shop. •Board the same bus you came in on. •Boarding bus at 12:40.•Buses depart at 1:00.

Back at School by 1:30ish

•Chaperones are free to go at 1:45.•Go back to the same class. •Culminating activities will begin.
