Situation

• Patient desires: replacement of lost dorsal teeth in the upper jaw

• Diagnosis:– Loss of teeth 16 17 and 26 27

– Narrow upper jaw, frontal open bite

– Traumatic occlusion

– In multidisciplinary consultation it was advised to perform TPD and orthodontic treatment

– This was refused by the patient• NoTPD

• Patient desires only dorsal occlusal therapy

• Patient has no problem with frontal open bite present for all her life
