Father Campagna called them the “lost children.”

Others called them “at risk,” “delinquent,” or “troubled.”

Believing that at-risk children would thrive if transplanted into a healthier environment…

Father Campagna enlisted the help of Northwest Indiana community members to build Hoosier Boy’s Town in 1947.
