1 AUTOMATIC AMPOULES FILLING AND CLOSING MACHINE, CIONI, MODEL: A6FC COMPLET

OVERHAULT WITH 1 YEAR OF WARRANTY Description: Automatic ampoules filling machine made for filling and closing of closed ampoules. Execution of the machine for pharmaceutical production, made according to the newest GMP regulations. Only one operation person can handle this machine, based to easy handling and uncomplicated operation. All the control and surveillance instruments are accident free and installed for easy access. All parts of the machine (filling needles, flexible silicon pipes etc.) can be easy disconnected. The construction of the machine is based to the cycles of the feeding chain with the ampoules guiding boxes. The following operations will be done during the cycle intervals: - Ampoules feeding - Take-over and opening of the ampoules - Ampoules filling - Ampoules closing (welding) - Ampoules counting - Feeding of the new ampoules for filling The control of the instruments must be done by the operator.

Construction materials: All the materials of the machine are special made to guaranty a long production life. All parts in contact with the product are made in stainless steel AISI 316, highly polished, all the other parts are made in stainless steel AISI 304. The construction of all the parts of the machine is made according to ISO 9001 and GMP

norms and full fills also the CE norms. Machine description: - The basic machine construction is made with rectangular profiles in stainless steel AISI 304, surfaces satin

polished. The basic frame is fixed on height adjustable, vibration free legs „Silent block“, adjustable height ± 60 mm.

- Removable side wall sheets in stainless steel AISI 304, surfaces are brushed. - Safety gurad box made in transparent “Lexan” material with connection frame in stainless steel AISI 304.

Sicherheitshaube aus durchsichtigem Lexan, mit Befestigungsgestell aus rostfreiem Stahl AISI 304. Closing of the doors by magnet switches, controlled by safety switches, executed according to the European CE norms (machine restrictions 98/37/EeC, EMC, electro magnetic execution 98/336/ECC, LV low voltage 72/23/ECC).

- Control panel made in stainless steel AISI 304, surfaces with satin finish, complete delivered with main switch and emergency button.

- All external mechanical parts are protected against dust and for easier cleaning of the parts with a protection lacquer “Niploy Process Atossic”.

- All internal mechanical parts are protected as well with a special lacquer. - All parts in contact with the product are made in stainless steel AISI 316 and all the flexible connection pips

are made in silicon. - Easy format changes without the help of tools possible. - Easy cleaning and disconnection of the dosing stations, also without the help of tools possible. - The highest noise level of the machine in fully operation is not higher than 76 dBA, controlled in meter

distance to the machine (norm CE 86/188/ECC-Dlgs 277/91). - The construction of the filling needles is specially made for an easy disconnection and replacement. - Automatic feeding of the ampoules from the loading channel on the conveyor belt with separating device to

feed on ampoule after the other into the transport chain. - Minimum level control in the loading channel. - Maximum level control in the loading channel. - Start/Stop-operation for the cycle’s settings and for the controls in up normal operation. - Mechanical control for of the ampoules takes over to the transport chain. - Transport chain with easy to disconnect the chain links. - Checking device for the ampoules under the filling needles (no ampoule = no filling). - Filling volumes: from 1 ml to 10 ml. - Filling accuracy: from ± 0.2% to ± 0.6% (depending on the filling volume). - Easy adjusting of the filling volume with a micro meter screw. - Height adjusting device for the filling needles for a bottom/top filling. - Anti-dropping system. - Control for the continuous transport of the ampoules. - All the drive motors are built inside the machine frame. (FDA norm). - The pneumatic system and his components are made according to the ISO-standard regulations. - Visual electronically indication of the total produced ampoules and the current produced ampoules. - Accumulation channel for the “good” ampoules. Machine working steps: Loading: The operator will place one ampoules box direct into the loading channel and opens the loading and filling flap, the ampoules are taken over afterwards automatically from the transport chain. Taking over and opening of the ampoules: The ampoules are taken over from the loading channel into the transport chain with a pincer system, with head down orientating and then passed to a diamante disc, opens the ampoules with a tip speed of 17'000 min

Filling: The ampoules filling will be done with 6 mirror polished filling needles made in stainless steel AISI 316L. The dosing system is adjusted that independent to the product viscosity no drops can occur. Closing: Closing system with burners (gas + oxygen) with micro adjusting of each burner jet, the system is made with safety valves. Also included is an ampoules holding, turning device (turning speed adjustable) to guaranty an equal closing of the ampoules. Outlet: The closed ampoules will be finally placed inside the guiding boxes in front of discharge station. The ampoules are softly pushed in rows onto the outlet channel to prevent scratches at the ampoules outside

and braking of the ampoules heads before they are completely cooled down. Included is also a safety guiding to prevent any rotating and damages of the ampoules. The outlet channel has also a maximum level sensor with an alarm fort he operator, before the channel is totally filled and the operator can take out the ampoules before the machine stops.

Description of the electrical installation of the machine: - Operation panel with easy access for the operator. - Frequency controlled speeds of the machine. - Frequency controlled rotation speed in front of the welding station. - PLC Allen Bradley for the automatic control of all the machine cycles, complete delivered with the

necessary software. - Operation panel complete with: Visualisation with touch screen to indicate of all messages, alarms and indication of the following main

functions of the machine: Indication of the machine data’s, indication of the production capacity, the total produced and the actual

produced ampoules, storage of all necessary data’s of each format, input of recipes fort he production. Different push buttons are included. Possibility to accelerate the production capacity during the machine is in operation. Emergency button is included. - Overload protection switches. - Machine and control panel made according to the European norms CE, with control circuit of 24V and

protection IP65.

Format included: The machine will be delivered with the format for ampoules with a diameter of 17.75 mm (10 ml). Included in the format are: - 110 Ampoule guiding boxes - 6 filling cylinders made in glass/stainless steel with smooth dosing of 3 ml complete with filling- and

discharge system on minimal 3 ml, with all the necessary instruments and sterilisable, flexible silicon pipes.

- 6 filling needles made in stainless steel AISI 316L with a diameter of 2.20 mm. - 6 centring devices for the filling needles in Teflon (PTFE). - 6 guiding discs for the ampoules openings made in stainless steel AISI 304. - 1 anti tilting device for the ampoules. - 1 outlet pushing bar of the ampoules heads made in stainless steel AISI 304. Documentation: Included in the delivery is a complete documentation in Italian language, consisting of: - Operation manual - Schemas and electrical wiring diagrams - Spare parts lists - CE Certificate - Test certificate OPTIONAL: Injecting system for inert gas (nitrogen) for the cleaning of the ampoules from oxygen with stand still operation of the machine should the nitrogen pressure be to low or missing (adjusting device of the nitrogen pressure). If necessary to clean the ampoules from oxygen before the filling, two concentric diving nozzles will be included, one for the cleaning of the ampoules with nitrogen (executed like a pre gazing) and the second afterwards to fill the ampoules. If the set nitrogen pressure will be too low, the machine stops automatically. Injecting system consisting of: - Pressure regulation unit with manometer - Sequence control with sensors - Pressure transmitter - Solenoid valve
