DESCRIPTION

One such unplanned trip was my trip to Amritsar. I have no words to explain the intensity of fun and enjoyment I had with my families. The icing on the cake of this trip was the Golden Temple, the seat of Harmandir Sahib. The Harmandir Sahib is the soul of Amritsar. We travelled to Amritsar via train and ordered jain food delivery in train. The journey was ultimate. When we reached the Amritsar JN Railway Station, our hearts were full of joy and we were waiting for the next to come.

I love to go for the unplanned trips

One such unplanned trip was my trip to Amritsar. I have no words to

explain the intensity of fun and enjoyment I had with my families. The icing

on the cake of this trip was the Golden Temple, the seat of Harmandir

Sahib. The Harmandir Sahib is the soul of Amritsar. We travelled to Amritsar

via train and ordered jain food delivery in train. The journey was ultimate. When we reached the Amritsar JN Railway Station, our hearts were full of

joy and we were waiting for the next to come.

Upon reaching, we checked into the hotel and then started our stay in

Amritsar. To be very honest, being a foodie, I loved the food there in

Amritsar, which had so many varieties. If you are also planning to visit

Amritsar, here is my full proof guide for you:

The best food options in Amritsar:

Amritsari Kulcha

I fell in love with this heavy piece of

bread at first sight. My taste buds were

just pleased when I nibbled into it. It is

a true delight. The center of the Kulcha

is cut and is stuffed with potato or other

tasty mixes. It can be either taken just

as it is or with dry cholay or any other

gravy.

Amritsari Fish

I have never eaten a fish as I was

served in Amritsar. The Amritsari

fish is fried and has a Punjabi twist

to its credit. The Amritsari fish is

served with chutney, onions and

lemons. The fish is fried after

adding punjabi ingredients. The fish

is so crispy outside while from

inside it is simply soft. It can be

taken in main course as well as an

appetizer.

Lassi

Your trip to Amritsar is just

incomplete if you do not drink the

Amritsari lassi. I personally love lassi,

so getting to drink the delicious lassi

was a treat for me. To my surprise, the

lassi is also present here in different

varieties and flavours. Trying different

flavours of lassi was totally a fun filled

activity.
