This season will go down as one of the all time greatest, no doubt about it! For all you Essendon supporters there is no way I would have stripped your tipping points like the AFL did, there is no need to Thank me for that, seriously, cool your jets!

RECORDS ARE MADE TO BE BROKENThis year we had a record amount of competitors with 122 and next year we will be looking to do the same. Please see the registration form at the end of this presentation to register for the 2014 season. Please spread the word as much as possible, the more people involved, the more $$$ for us all to share in :)

DIVINE 9 WEEKLY POTJACK PRIZE PAYOUTS It was debatable at the start of the year whether or not we would increase the $50.00 a week potjack to $100.00, but it in the end, all roads lead to Norway. Congratulations to those of you who shared in the weekly potjacks and won some dollarenos and of course the all mighty Aussie Cheer Horn. Cheer horn sales since this time have gone up amazingly… Rob McGloin has since invested into the Horn Company and become CEO, “The Horn Company is trading quite well … I recommend all of you buy some shares in the company as it is not amaz-ing value at -$5.25 per share and decreasing daily.”

DIVINE 9 CLUB – BEST PHOTO WINNERFor all of you who tipped 9 and became a part of the Divine 9 club and didn’t send through your photos to us, you missed out on being judged and winning free entry into next years competition. In the end, there were only 3 submissions, Paul Manczak, Graham Hosking and Matt Foster who all sent through some amazingly funny uses for their cheer horn! It was a really hard choice to pick the winner of best photo, our selection panel had a tough choice to make but in the end we have decided that best photo for this year goes to Paul Manczak. Paul put in a great amount of work to somehow make himself a Hawthorn player, with a beautiful moustache and waking Cyril Rioli over the head with his cheer horn. Mat and Win were awfully close finding an amazing use for the cheer horn as a drink dispenser and Graham Hosking too with his office appreciation of the cheer horn.

Below is the final ladder of rankings with Total Prize Money won and a full Season performance review from the annoying footy guy.

THE MAN BEHIND THE SCENES

A MASSIVE SPECIAL THANK YOU must go out here to the man behind the scenes, yes, there is a man behind the scenes! Without this amazing specimen of a man there would be no Footy Tipping Competition at all. Mark “Bernie” Bernard is the engine room of our comp, all I do as the Annoying Footy Guy is Dictate. Every Monday morning after the round is completed, Bernie and I would have a 7am Monday morning meeting, he brings in his type writer as I sit on my desk and waffle words out of my mouth. Bernie types what I am saying on his typewriter. Then somehow, he miraculously turns it into a digital transcription which is then turned into an email which he sends out and somehow it ends up on a thing called a website. I have no idea how he does it, he calls it the Internets and a Electronic Mail or something like that, I told him he may be onto something really big here and he should pursue this idea a little further! If you ask me, personally, fax is still my preferred method of communication but I just let Bernie do his thing… What a man!So seriously, I think we should all thank Bernie for his amazing work, without him, nothing at all, nothings!
