Mexico has for several years been a leader in the construction of gorgeous courses designed by the top names in the business in the top destinations of Cancun, Riviera Maya, Cozumel, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta. The Dominican Republic is one of the Caribbean’s most impressive golf paradises with its powder white beaches, green tropical landscapes and mild tropical breeze. The best known golf resort on the island is the “Casa de Campo” resort in La Romana with three Pete Dye courses. Puerto Plata and Punta Cana also boast fabulous courses designed by Robert Trent and Pete Dye respectively. Jamaica boasts 10 golf courses throughout the country, which are distinguished by the quality of the very individual attention provided by the caddies. The Tryall Golf Club at Montego Bay is considered one of the best in the country as is Sandals Resort and Golf Club on the Northern coast. MexicanCaribbean

Mexico has its own part of the Caribbean. The Yucatan Peninsula offers 300 kilometers of snow-white beaches from Cancun in the north to the state capital Chetumal on the Belize border in the south. Cancun has for

a decade been the principal draw card with its many hotels located directly on the beautiful beaches, the incredible turquoise color of the water, its famous nightlife and amazing shopping opportunities. However, over recent years the Riviera Maya (which is the stretch of coast between Cancun and Tulum) has experienced a gigantic boom in tourism and a significant increase in population. Playa del Carmen has now turned into an extensive and multi cultural city from the small provincial beach town and back packer paradise it used to be. Today it attracts all kinds of tourists and budgets, and is famous for its “easy going” and relaxed atmosphere. Other smaller communities along the coast, such as Tulum, Akumal and Puerto Aventuras, are also very attractive thanks to their tropical paradise beaches, beautiful coral reefs & wildlife and the many activities available in the area.

The Yucatan Peninsula is covered by low tropical forest that hides countless treasures; ruins and temples from the ancient Maya culture, such as Chichen Itzá, existing Mayan communities, richness in flora and fauna, subterranean caves, rivers and cenotes. There is an abundance of action and adventure in the exciting nature parks and eco-tours including zip lines, snorkeling and diving. In addition, the region boasts an impressive selection of world class resorts, professionally design golf courses, luxurious spas, deep

sea fishing and dolphin programs. Cancun and Playa del Carmen boast an eclectic mix of international and Mexican restaurants, bistros and cafes that will satisfy any palate; while an amazing choice night clubs, discos and bars will amaze even the most seasoned night-life revelers. Whether plans are for a romantic escape for two, a family vacation, an adventure packed get-a-way, a “dream come true” wedding or a group event, the Mexican Caribbean has everything for an unforgettable experience.

Cancun was only a twinkle in the eyes of visionaries dreaming of a paradise not yet realized. This “mirage”, shimmering up from a sun-drenched sliver of powdery, white beach was home to no one and known only

to a few fisherman and those looking for solitude. Nothing but nature itself occupied this Caribbean diamond in the rough. Today Cancun has become a world leading vacation, meetings, incentive and conference destination. Cancun

offers an array of activities that includes a “New 7th Wonder of the World” – the archaeological site of Chichen Itzá and incredible snorkeling and diving on the 2nd largest reef in the world. The destination also offers championship golf courses, luxurious spas, world class gourmet restaurants and a dazzling night life. Cancun has it all!

Cozumel

A Mexican heart... with a Caribbean soul! Just 12 miles off the Yucatan coast, directly across from Playa del Carmen, lies the island of Cozumel. Its waters so clear, its coral reefs so spectacular, famed marine biologist

Jacques Cousteau called it the “best diving area in the world.” Boasting the second largest barrier reef in the world, this sleepy island draws divers, swimmers and snorkelers from around the globe. A mecca for SCUBA divers, Cozumel offers World Class dive sites just a stone’s throw from the shore and justly merits its

place among the leading dive locations of the world. Boasting the archaeological site of San Gervasio, Chankanaab National Park and the Punta Sur Ecological Reserve, Cozumel has a huge amount to offer the visitor - both above and below the water line!
