ABOUT MARY: E. Mary Wilce was born in rural Carmarthenshire. Her first poem in Welsh was published at the age of 15 and she has been writing ever since. She has been published many times and has won numerous writing awards including the annual poetry prize at The Circle – which she has won five times – and the Cardiff poetry competition sponsored by Oriel. She lives in the Vale of Glamorgan with her husband, Don.
