Match Result fact: Palace lost 10 out of 12 games v Top 6 sides, and won just 3 out of 10 v Top Half sides.

Everton

Match Result fact: Everton won just 3 of their 19 Away games, the worst Away win rate of any team in the Top Half of the Premier League.

Everton were the 2nd-worst Most Corners team in the Premier League last season, winning the Most Corners in just 3 of their 19 Away games. Backing opponents with a +1 Corner Handicap paid out in 16 of those 19 Away games.

Match Result fact: Huddersfield failed to win any of their 10 Away games v Top Half sides (W0 D3 L7).

Match Result fact: Nothing wrong with the champions’ impressive 84% match win rate, but making money from backing the runaway leaders to win was the problem. For example, if you’d backed Man City to win each Home game at average odds of 1/4 to level stakes, you’d have staked 19 points to return just 20, for a 1 pt profit and just 5% ROI.

� ‘Over 2.5 Goals’

Man City were the No.1 side for Over 2.5 Goals bets, including 16 out of 19 games at the Etihad Stadium seeing 3+ goals. That’s the same 84% win rate as backing City to win, but generally available at greater odds. For example, backing Over 2.5 Goals in every City Home game at average odds of 8/13 to level stakes, you’d have staked 19 points to return 25.84, for a 6.84 pt profit and a 36% ROI. Win rate = 84%

Manchester United

Match Result fact: Man Utd only lost 3 out of 10 games v fellow Top 6 sides.

Stats fact – alternative bet: � ‘First Half – Clean Sheet’

Man Utd kept more Clean Sheets than any other Premier League team last season (19 in 38 games). Their Half Time stats were even more impressive with bets on the First Half – Clean Sheet paying out in 28 out of 38 games.

Match Result fact: Newcastle lost all 6 Away games v Top 6 sides.

Newcastle came 1st in the Premier League for Time of First Goal – After 27th Minute bets, including a Home record of 11 payouts from 19 games at St James’ Park. The Magpies also had a 74% Home strike-rate for Under 1.5 Goals in the First Half.
