Broadway Subway ProjectAn extension of the Millennium Line
The Broadway Subway Project is a 5.7km extension of the Millennium Line, from VCC–Clark Station to Broadway and Arbutus. It will provide fast, frequent, convenient SkyTrain service to B.C.’s second largest jobs centre, world-class health services, an emerging innovation and research hub, and growing residential communities.
The Broadway Subway Project budget is $2.83 billion, funded and delivered by the Government of B.C., with contributions from the Government of Canada and the City of Vancouver.

Tunneled SkyTrain and Underground Stations
Once in service, the trip from VCC-Clark Station to Arbutus Station will take 11 minutes, saving the average transit commuter almost 30 minutes a day and relieving congestion along Broadway.
Construction is anticipated to begin in 2020 with the line in service in 2025.
Six new underground stations will connect communities and neighbourhoods to make it easier and more affordable to live, work, shop, and access services along the Broadway Corridor. These stations will be fully integrated with bus, HandyDART, walking, and cycling for a complete multi-modal experience.
The Project will seamlessly connect to the current SkyTrain network, including Expo, Millennium and Canada Lines, and will integrate with the regional bus network.
Project route and stations. Station locations to be confirmed and will be within 1 block of major intersections.
