    Aggregate Publication Statistics:

    Journal: 1(open access)

    Conference: 3---------------------------------------------------------

    Projects: (If applicable)

    1) Computation of the nature of Heatline and Isotherm distribution during cooling of a hot rolledsteel slab under multiple jet under Dr. Achintya Mukhopadhyay and Dr. Nilkanta Barman of our

    department during 3rd year.

    2) Experimental project to determine the Lean Blow Out point in premixed Gas Turbine

combustion using spectrometric analysis under Dr. Achintya Mukhopadhyay and Dr. Swarnendu

Sen of our department during 3rd year.

    3) Developed a code for the 2D Transient & 3D Transient simulation of Lid Driven Cavity flow

under Dr.Manab Kumar Das at Mechanical Engineering Department, Indian Institute of

    Chattopadhyay.(ongoing).

    6) Will be continuing my work in IIT Kharagpur with Dr. Manab Kumar Das in the winter.

    ---------------------------------------------------------

    Recommendations:

    1) Dr. Manab Kumar Das, Mechanical Engineering Department, IIT Kharagpur, Strong.

    2) Dr. Achintya Mukhopadhyay, Mechanical Engineering Department, Jadavpur University,

    Strong.

    3) Dr. Himadri Chattopadhyay, 4th year project guide, Mechanical Engineering Department,Jadavpur University, Strong.

    -------------------------------------------------------

    --------------------------------------------------------Tentative Universities:

The ones I have sent my GRE score to :

    1) Virginia Tech2) University of Florida.

    3/3

    3) University of Illinois, Chicago.

    4) IOWA State.

-------------------------------------------------------Of these universities, I found S. Balachandran of U.Florida and Dr. Mark Stremler of Vtech

having research interests clearly aligned with my own. I have already pre-apped Prof. Mark

Stremler and he said he was interested in the possibility of me joining his research group for fall2015.

I would really like you people to suggest me a few more universities which I can realistically aim

and also schools having good fluid mechanics groups where I can apply. Also as I messed up myquants section, should I consider a GRE retake?

Thank you for evaluating my profile!
