SOME SUCCESS STORIES

Anganwadi centre in Khaskoti, Block Jaunpur, Dist. Tehri was not running effectively as the woman incharge stayed in a distant place. The SHG women along with others took her to task as a result of which she started commuting to the centre everyday. The centre runs well now. The women played a major role in improving the sanitation condition of the village by getting toilets constructed. Previously the money for such work was not utilized, but now the women approached the Pradhan and got them constructed wherever needed.
