AN INTRODUCTION TO RADIO CONTROL
HELICOPTERS

Flying radio control helicopters is an amazing hobby to indulge in. This type of rc hobby offers fun to both kids and adults.
There are many different types of helis i.e. Micro, Two Blades, Fixed Pitch and Collective pitch
Why choose RC Helicopters?
Micro Remote Control Helicopters are fun to fly for both adults and children. These helis are easy to fly straight out of the box and are also affordable.
Due to the advancement in technology; micro helicopters are now capable of undertaking 3D manoeuvres.
These electric RC helicopters can be flown indoors without making a lot of noise; which is fantastic for rainy days.
Types of Radio ControlHelicopters
Twin blade radio control helicopters unlike other rc helicopters do not have a tail rotor blade. These helicopters rely on their counter rotating blades for balancing.
Thanks to the two blades these remote control helicopters can be flown by just about anyone, making them the perfect first helicopter before getting started with single blade helis.
Types of Radio ControlHelicopters
Fixed pitch rc helicopters are single rotor blade helis. The main rotor blade is locked in fixed angel and therefore how high the heli rises is dependent on the speed of the rotor , if the speed is reduced the helicopter will descends.
These model helicopters are less technical than advanced helicopters making them easier to repair and they also tend to be cheaper.
Types of Radio ControlHelicopters
Collective pitch remote control helicopters are more technical and manoeuvrable than fixed pitch helis. The main blade on these helicopters rotate in different angles to change the lift at different rotations, allowing the model helicopters to perform aerobatic flight i.e. loops, rolls and inverted flying.
Collective pitch helis are for advanced flyers and should not be confused for toys. They also require much more maintenance and are more expensive.
