Facts About Social Workers… Most social workers are employed by

private agencies, both not-for-profit and for-profit, including self-employment in their own private practice offices.

Professional social workers provide half the nation’s mental health and therapy services -- more than psychiatrists, psychologists, and other related professionals COMBINED!!!

A social worker is a trained professional who has a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in social work – not simply someone who works in a helping role.

INTERESTED IN OUR MSW PROGRAM?

Minimum Admissions Criteria: GPA of 3.0 OR GRE Score of 1000+

Application includes a personal statement, transcript, resume, and letters of recommendation

Volunteer or paid experience in human services is highly desirable

Students with a B.S. degree may in the traditional two-year MSW Program – entry date every Fall Semester

Students with a BSW degree enroll in the one-year MSW Program – entry date every Fall, Spring, or Summer Semester

Both part-time and full-time MSW programs are available
