Only of it’s kind FOAM CANCELLATION

System consisting of Foam Trap where from

low density porous oil void spaces are

removed , any left over dissolved gases are

exhausted using the vacuum pumping

system & any vaporized or volatile oil body

is sucked back in the DG chamber . Thereby

converting oil foam into normal liquid state. It allows the plant to operate at full vacuum from starting

of oil filtration. Thereby accelerating Dehydration Process

by 60-70 % in comparison to other plants.

MTHV-SERIES oil filtration plants have the following key technical features—

Semi -Double Stage Degasification & Dehydration for unmatched result in single pass :-

In Semi-Double Stage Degasification Chamber,

Degasification & Dehydration is done mainly by FIBER

GLASS COALESCING METHOD & then by RASING RIG

technology. Glass fibers of 4 to 7 micron dia not only

exposes each liter of oil into a corresponding surface up

to 400 m2 area but sharp ends of glass fiber contributes

to the evolution of the gas from the oil break-up to gas

bubbles. Thermo-Vacuum Treat, using the Fiberglass

Coalescing Method ensures Water removal from 50 PPM

to 2 PPM and Gas removal from fully saturated with air (

say 10% ) down to 0.1%. Upon that oil is made to pass

from a well ventilated Racing-Rig bed for complete

removal of evolved moisture & gas to achieve unmatched

result in single pass.

Seperate Transformer Evacuation System has been designed to be used in multiple ways as- To substitute primary vacuum

pumping system for filtration plant in case of breakdown.

Primary Vacuum Pumping set could perform transformer evacuation in case of breakdown of the later.

For faster evacuation of bigger transformers both vacuum pumping systems could be taken to use via any single evacuation outlet provided in the plant, while filtration unit is not running .

VACUUM PUMPING SYSTEM They are Capable of multiple operations as

OIL TOP-UP & HOT OIL CIRCULATION

providing complete solutions during

transformer maintenance works.

SINGLE POINT OPERATION & MONITORING:

The entire plant could be operated &

monitored from a single point by one

operator only. All necessary valves &

control devices are within reach of

the operator standing in front of the

DESIGN FEATURES:-

INLET STRAINER: Inlet strainer is cleanable very easily by opening the front lid without dismantling the main console. It has been placed at a place free from other components interference for ease of work. A oil collection tray has been placed beneath it, which is connected to the draining point to prevent oil spillage on the machines base during servicing.

Every component of the plant has been designed & placed in most simplest & logical way possible for being operated, repaired & serviced by any technician with very basic technical knowhow.

We have achieved in reducing regular servicing time by almost 40% by taking into consideration our clients on-site valuable feedbacks & implementing them through thoughtful well engineered design , thereby making the plant most site-friendly machine ensuring high profitability for user.

CAPSULED CARTRIDGE HOUSING: Thro away type filtration cartridges are placed in individual capsules for enhanced performance & reduces on-site replacement time by 50%.

CONTROL PANEL MACROTECH FILTERALL has designed & developed the control panel of MTHV-SERIES in very compact & portable form & has succeeded in achieving fully automatic operation with

use of only branded widely available basic electrical switchgear materials without the use of any logic controllers for easy, cheap repairing & maintenance of electrical panel. ENCLOSER: Control panel encloser is made up of 1.4mm Thick M.S. Galvanized C.R.C sheet.

INTERLOCKINGS :--

Heater could not be activated unless

Inlet Gear pump is running (if under any

circumstances gear pump trip heater would also trip).

Temperature is below final assigned temperature at

both digital temperature controller & Safety

Thermostat .

Oil level is normal in Degassing Chamber (DG).

Level Controller:

o In case of over flowing of oil in DG chamber

Gear Pump would trip along with heater

to avoid black spot formation in stagnant oil.

Gear pump would trip on high pressure at delivery

line of the pump

In case of tripping of Gear Pump due to

Short Circuit or Over Load; OUTLET PUMP & HEATER would also trip.

But depending on the quantity & quality of oil & internal construction of the transformer or oil storage vessel maximum of 2-3 passes of total mass of oil through the plant is required as purified oil continuously mixes with unpurified oil inside the storage vessel.

What is Mineral Insulating Oil or Transformer Oil?

• TRANSFORMER OIL IS A COMPOSITION OF SEVERAL HYDROCARBONS. • ITS MAIN CONTENTS ARE NAPTHANIC, PARRAFINIC AND AROMATICS HYDROCARBONS.

Why Mineral Insulating Oil is used?

Mineral insulating oil or commonly known as Transformer oil is used in Transformers , High Voltage Capacitors, Fluorescent Lamp Ballast & some type of High Voltage Switches & Circuit Breakers ---

•To provide dielectric strength. •To provide high flash point. •To provide High Insulating Resistance. •To provide efficient cooling. •To provide freedom from moisture & freedom from oxidation •To protect the transformer core and coil assembly from chemical attack. •To prevent the buildup of sludge in the transformer.

How Transformer Oil gets contaminated?

Transformer oil is liable to absorb un-acceptable contaminants formed inside high voltage instruments due to development of ageing products. Such as- • Formation of Acids due to Chemical decomposition. • Oxidation. • Formation of Gases. • Electrical stresses • Thermal stresses • Effect of oxidation products. • Moisture. • Solid Matters like Dust, Fibers, Metallic particles , Varnish and Sludge

& also due to any kind of physical contamination as a result of leakage in the encloser of the instrument, etc

Why oil filtration is required?

When the concentrations of impurities are significant the oil has to be made fit for service by filtration . The process is made in a Filtration plant. MACROTECH insulating oil reconditioning & filtration plant has been designed for High & Ultra High Vacuum and Low Temperature ( 450 C) of oil for achieving high parameter of oils as per IS-6034-1989 and IS-1866-2000. Benefits of oil filtration are—

• Insulating mineral oil is highly expensive oil, therefore replacing the oil is very cost effective & impractical but filtering this oil is not only highly economically profitable but also eco friendly.

• With Presence of contamination in oil Performance & Life expectancy of

extremely valuable High voltage Transformers are affected greatly. Contamination in Transformer oil can result in complete breakdown of the transformers worth millions of Dollars. Whereas with good quality transformer oil transformers life expectancy could be enhanced by 200%.
