World class chefs from the Four Seasons, the Shangri-La, and the Patina Restaurant Group will work with ANA to create bespoke menus for passengers to enjoy on flights to Japan, providing passengers with more choice and variety. Passengers will be able to enjoy local cuisine from the country of departure, in addition to ANA’s traditional Japanese menu. For some international passengers, this may be their first taste of ANA’s in-flight cuisine, whilst for passengers returning home to Japan, these meals will be a deliciously fitting finale to a business trip or holiday. ANA began collaborating with renowned hotels and chefs on its in-fight menus last year, introducing meals to Taiwan and India route. The extension of this initiative demonstrates ANA’s continued commitment to catering for its diverse international customer base and providing the highest levels of quality and comfort in-flight. This next phase in the initiative will see even more delicious and beautifully-presented meal. ANA is the only airline in Japan to have been awarded the maximum 5-star rating from Skytrax for two consecutive years, and the extension of the in-flight menu collaborations will further improve its passenger experience.

TOKYO, October 21, 2014 – From December 2014, ANA will be introducing in-flight meals created in

collaboration with some of the world’s most highly acclaimed restaurants in Thailand, Singapore, China, Hong

Kong and Los Angeles on flights from these countries to Japan. World class chefs from the Four Seasons, the

Shangri-La, and the Patina Restaurant Group will work with ANA to create bespoke menus for passengers to

enjoy on flights to Japan, providing passengers with more choice and variety. Passengers will be able to enjoy

local cuisine from the country of departure, in addition to ANA’s traditional Japanese menu. For some

international passengers, this may be their first taste of ANA’s in-flight cuisine, whilst for passengers returning

home to Japan, these meals will be a deliciously fitting finale to a business trip or holiday.

In-flight meal collaborations on international routes

(1)Thailand:

Routes: Bangkok to Japan *Excludes late-night departure flights

Class: Business class

Period: December 2014-November 2015

Collaboration partner: Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok

In order to provide authentic Thai food to our passengers, we will be teaming up with the Four Seasons Hotel

Bangkok, a leading purveyor of Thai food in the city. We will be presenting dishes produced in collaboration

with the Spice Market, known locally as one of the best places to enjoy Thai food.

(2) Singapore:

Routes: Singapore to Japan *Excludes late-night departure flights

Class: Business class

Period: December 2014-November 2015

Collaboration partner: Regent Singapore, A Four Seasons Hotel

ANA will be collaborating with the Regent Singapore, A Four Seasons Hotel which operates six restaurants

including those specializing in Cantonese and Italian cuisine. Passengers will be able to enjoy a creative

menu from Summer Palace, a restaurant that provides authentic Cantonese cuisine.

Routes: Beijing, Dalian, Shenyang, Hangzhou to Japan

*Excludes some flights

Class: Business class

Period: Beijing in February, May, August and October 2015

Dalian, Shenyang and Hangzhou in January, April, July and November 2015

Collaboration partner: Shangri-La Hotel

In collaboration with Shang Palace restaurant at Shangri-La Hotel, a well-established hotel widely known

throughout China, ANA will provide authentic Cantonese food. For routes from Beijing, customers can enjoy

meals produced by their chef with more than 40 years’ experience.

(4)Hong Kong

Routes: Hong Kong to Japan

Class: Business class

Period: December 2014 and March, June and September 2015

Collaboration partner: Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong

In collaboration with Shang Palace, a 2-star Michelin restaurant at the hotel, ANA will be providing the

restaurant's signature, high-quality Cantonese cuisine, produced by their chef who also has experience at

other high-class international hotels. Wine recommended by the hotel will also accompany the dishes

(available on flights departing and arriving Hong Kong, from Haneda and Narita).

(5)Los Angeles

Routes: Los Angeles to Japan

Class: Business class

Period: December 2014 to November 2015

Collaboration partner: Patina

ANA will collaborate with Patina Restaurant Group, which regularly tops restaurant rankings in the US and

has won numerous prestigious restaurant awards. Patina's highly creative Californian cuisine, enjoyed by

Hollywood’s celebrities, will be served at breakfast on late-night flights and for lunch on daytime flights.

Passengers will also get to enjoy an original cocktail created especially for ANA, the ‘Nippon Old Fashioned’.

Following collaboration menus by our partners in 2014 will continue to be served on board in 2015.

Routes: Taiwan to Japan

Class: Business class

Period: February, June and September 2015

Collaboration partner: Regent Taipei

ANA will provide the collaboration meal, a creation by their chef, which well represents hotel’s

guaranteed quality, and delicious cuisine.

(7)India

Routes: India to Japan, Japan (Tokyo) to outside of Japan

Class: First Class(from Japan), Business class, Economy class

Period: From December 2014

Collaboration Partner: Chef Satish Arora

ANA has been in partnership with the world renowned award-wining Chef Satish Arora, since the inauguration

of the India routes. From December, special meals of Hindu meal and Vegetarian Hindu meal, designed by

the Chef, will not only be available on routes from India, but also expand to routes from Tokyo.
