2. UNCUTThe image for this double page spread goes over one full page and half of the second page. There is very bright colours used in this image, which link to the hippy kind on genre the Beatles were. The introduction to what the article is about is in a different font and is larger than the rest of the article. There is even a part of it which is a different colour to the rest. This is done to stand out and make it obvious who the article is about if the images hasnt already done so. The article looks very small as the image is dominating the page. However I think it works well and does look very well set out and structured. The song "yellow submarine" album is mainly featured in this article and the lyrics "nothing is real are used. As the world "real has been distorted, it gives the effect of a hipster/indie feel which The Beatles were. As the song is about drugs, which also reflects on the distorted word "real". 3. NMEWhole of the image dominates the page and fills up the top half of the page. The colours really work well together and make the page look professional and interesting. As the image is what attracts the reader most on a double page spread. A small quote out of the article has been added to interest them to read the article.Small sentence introducin g the artist before it goes into the interview. It has been put there to break the image up from the text. The main title links to the image it says lets dance and the image consists of the same man multiple times dancing. It is there to grab the readers attention and tease them. First letter drops down 9 lines to structure the article. The colour blue is used to keep the colours from the image consistent creating a colour scheme.Use of a quote of the article is printed bigger and put between all of the text to break it up.The article is put into rows to structure the page. 4. KERRANG This image will really connect with the readers as it looks like they care more about the article than spending so much time getting a staged image. It also tells you what type of band they are as the main images. He has long hair which looks like he is flicking and is also dressed like hes in an indie rock bandThis double page spread has kept a consistent colour scheme throughout this page, The dark colours really work well with the red. It really makes it stand out.The smaller images are to show you more of the band members, this is effective as it no longer looks like the article is just about the singer. The headlines will really connect with the reader as it is a quote by the band. It seems as if they had been criticised and theyre defending themselves. This could interest the reader as they would want them having negative feed back if they like the band. They could also want to know what's happened. The strips down the side are track you can downloads. The background of white is affective against the black background and makes it standout. 5. QIn this corner the bands name is in a grey bold font which is not very eye catching. The dark colours on a dark background really doesnt work well. The image links with the indie/rock genre, which the music magazine is. They're all wearing dark clothes and all look like theyre in a band. Theyre all covered in bruises which shows what type of band they are.The main title links to the image it " STEP INSIDE ROCK AND ROLLS OWN FIGHT CLUB this reflects on the bands appearance, which has been made to look like they have just been in a fight as thy have bruises all over them. The font colour used are yellow and white, which works well with the dark background as they contrast with each other this makes the writing stand out. The text is on the opposite side to the main title which works but makes the page look unorganised. However, it isnt over cramped and the article itself is very structured.
