- Mast Head: The biggest font which is in a bright yellow/orange immediately attracts the reader’s attention. The heading relates to the main story which is about the college. If a student was reading the magazine it would make them feel as if there part of the college just from the ‘title ‘my college’.

- Headline: This relates the main story of ‘class 2009’. The big front is eye catching therefore the reader will constantly remember the headline of this magazine.

Long shot- shows the students body. The reason for the long shot is because you can see the school material s(headphones, books) and it also makes the student look intelligent and that the school may have high expectations.

Banner/Header: Not only does the date go across the side of the page but it’s also a header as it shows us the date. Although the colour is a white, bold and quite big it in the corner of the page which means it’s not that important but it’s also necessary to be on the page.

Cover line: Gives an introduction on what the magazine portrays. It gives the reader the basic idea of information the magazine consists.

Image: Good looking model always attracts the reader and make them more focused into the magazine.

Colour: The magazine has been based on two different colours which are yellow and white. There blend well together but also stand out.
