It is with great excitement we invite you to our First Annual Bull Sale! The optimism within the cattle industry is palatable and prospects look bright for the future. The past years have honed our herd into one that thrives with minimum inputs. Easy

fleshing, moderate frame and lots of hair are important as well as fertility and the

ability to travel easily to water and forage. We enjoy our cattle therefore disposition is

of great value to us!

We are very fortunate to have Shiloh Cattle Company join us. Blake and Darcy manage their purebreds much the way we do. Each animal has to earn the right to stay in our program. They must produce, and produce

well or they are gone. We are careful in what we feed in order to encourage natural

growth without compromising longevity. There is absolutely no pampering. Anchor

Ranch’s survival the past few years has depended on this.

WELCOME to the Anchor Ranch Bull Sale. What a tremendous year this has been in the cattle industry and the future is looking very

bright for some time to come. We would like to Thank you for your time to review the sales catalogue and for attending the sale. We are sure there is a bull that will work for your cattle program offered here

today. We are truly thrilled that Sherry and

Anthony invited us to contribute to their 1st Annual Bull Sale. Our programs are very

similar. No creep feeding of calves, and cows that have to produce well, or they are gone. Pedigrees are just Pedigrees and should not

sell an animal. Structural correctness, growth and performance are attributes we

look for and want to pass on to our costumers.

Our bulls are fed at home and have never tasted barley. They have been pail fed a 14%

back grounding pellet and hay. We breed and feed with the Commercial

Cattle Producer in mind. We have received many complements on the gentle nature of

our bulls and take great pride in the animals we produce.

In the event of extreme weather the sale will be rescheduled for Monday April 2. Announcement will be made on Q91 on March

31st

Anchor Ranch is 2.5 Km South on Secondary Hwy 836 from the Village of Carbon

1. TERMS: The terms of the sale are Cash or Cheque payable in Canadian Funds unless previous arrangements have been made with individual consigners. Settlement prior to any cattle released.

2. As soon as an animal is sold, it becomes the responsibility of the purchaser. Any animal remaining at Anchor Ranch or Shiloh Cattle Company must be insured. Livestock coverage will be available from the clerk’s desk on sale day.

3. CERTIFICATE of REGISTRY: a certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer by the breeder for each registered animal after complete and full payment has been made.

4. IDENTIFICATION: Each animal will carry a CCIA digital frequency tag as well as corresponding Lot tag.

5. BREEDERS GUARANTEE: All cattle are sound and right and sell with a responsible breeder guarantee of satisfaction. In an event of an unlikely dispute, the regular terms and conditions standard with Canadian Aberdeen Angus Association shall apply. Any complaints regarding fertility of any animal in this sale shall be directed to the breeder. No incidental expenses such as feed, veterinary charges, interest, etc., will be charged by either party. Under no circumstances shall the seller be responsible for more than the purchase price paid for the bull.

6. ACCIDENTS: Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of any who attend the sale, neither the sales management, the sponsoring Association nor any owner assumes responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability legal or otherwise, in the event of accident or loss of property.

7. LIABILITY Purchasers must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representation made hereafter.

8. DISPUTES: In case of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision will be final in such matter.

9. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Errors and omissions discovered in the catalogue will be corrected by announcement from the auction stand at sale time and such corrections will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue.
