• Poor people lived in simple flats apartments• Contained two rooms at the most, which were only for sleeping.• No bathroom, no living room, no kitchen

• Atrium had rooms opening up so you can see the weather even if you don’t have a window

• Atrium had a trough built into their design so it could collect rain droops when it rained.

• Roofs were typically of tiles and were built in a curved shape.

• However even in a rich house there was little furniture but rich people were very fond of their gardens.
