ST. ANNE CHURCH 20 BOSTON ROAD SOUTHBOROUGH MA 01772 “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to the whole of creation” (MK 16:15) My Dear Parishioners I have started to write these few lines on the feast day of Sts. Peter and Paul, the great two apostles and martyrs who lived out the gospel sentence mentioned above. As we know, these two apostles come to see that Jesus is not simply a way to live life but Jesus is life. Even if they are different in their personalities, professions, mission, names and birth places, they are needed in the Church because both of them are complementary with each other. We need stability as St. Peter ministered to the Jewish community while stationed mostly in Jerusalem and Rome and mobility as St. Paul ministered to the Gentiles on his many mission trips to Europe and Rome. Both gifts are needed and that is what makes it important to see these ways like the body parts all working as one. We are a community of persons and some of us like to travel to and fro as missionaries and yet some of like to stay at home. Let us continue to pray that we, the St. Anne parish family, work together irrespective of our differences in order to be witnesses of Jesus who is our Life. Just as the Lord called Saint Peter and Saint Paul in different ways, we are also called in many different ways to follow the Lord throughout our lives. Let us not ignore the call of the Lord. May we listen to His call and answer generously. My response to God’s call at this time is to accept the responsibility of being the Administrator of St. Anne Parish starting July 2016 and journey with you to fulfill the mission of God. I express my sincere thanks to Bishop Robert McManus and to you all for your trust and support. At this juncture, I just ask you for a favor: Please pray for me that I will be faithful to God and to you all. As I am taking up this responsibility with your prayers, I would like to express my gratitude on your behalf to Deacon Paul for his leadership and service to our community this past year. May God continue to bless us all so that we are united in love and live out the mission that each one of us received at our baptism. With prayers, Fr. Albert Irudayasamy A MESSAGE TO PARISHIONERS FROM DEACON PAUL REUTER: We all face transitions in our lives as we travel our spiritual journey. This transition is an especially joyful one for me. I am so grateful that Father Albert is staying with us and is taking over as parish administrator. This past year has been quite an experience for me. From being ordained as Deacon on June 6, 2015, to being asked to be Parish Administrator, and being here all this year taking on many new challenges. I've learned a huge amount, and I am very grateful and honored that Bishop McManus trusted me to serve our Lord's Church in such a meaningful way. I am also very grateful and feel very blessed to have had the support and help from all of you wonderful people here at St. Anne Parish. This community really is very special. I look forward to staying on as Deacon of the parish, and I am sure that all of you will join me in giving our support, love, and prayers to Father Albert going forward. I know that God has sent us a wonderful gift in giving us Father Albert, and we need to cherish that gift. May God give all of you abundant blessings. Deacon Paul We would like to thank our St. Anne Parish Advisory Council (PAC) who served well during these past years. We appreciate all their good works in the giving of their time, talents and treasure in engaging in long term and short term planning activities. They have been very instrumental to Fr. Conrad, Deacon Paul and Fr. Albert to further the mission of the church. With the new administration the current PAC will be dissolved and a new council will be elected and appointed under Fr. Albert. Paul LeDuc Pat Battles Brian Shea Kim Galbraith Tom Bhisitkul Joanne Flathers Bill Keville Mary Piekarz Regina McAuliffe Amy Buttiglieri

A MESSAGE TO PARISHIONERS FROM DEACON PAUL REUTER: We all face transitions in our lives as we travel our spiritual journey. This transition is an especially joyful one for me. We would like to thank our St.

Albert.
