Nestled in the heart of Victoria’s Great Ocean Road region, Warrnambool delivers an unbeatable location for visitors to discover the rugged splendour of Australia’s iconic Great Ocean Road – ranked among the top 20 journeys of a lifetime by Condé Nast Traveller.

This thriving city is at the centre of one of the most spectacular stretches of coastline in the world, and the only destination that can cater for large conferences and events, within an hour of the iconic Twelve Apostles.

Enjoy the lure of open fires and whales in winter, or an abundance of local seafood and sun drenched beaches during summer. With a host of accommodation options, a bustling shopping precinct, arts and café scene, day spas, cycling trails and an award winning foreshore promenade – Warrnambool offers something for everyone to enjoy.

a world ofadventure awaitsWarrnambool is the perfect base for an exciting range of activities and motivational incentives for your next conference or event.

Natural wonders abound across the region, offering a world of diverse experiences for those with the inclination to explore beyond the coast and into our lush rural landscapes. You’ll discover historic townships, ancient volcanic craters and the rich fertile plains of the Western District all within a short drive.

A rich maritime history is celebrated at Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village, built within the State Heritage listed Lady Bay Lighthouse complex. Every night Flagstaff Hill comes alive with the world-class Shipwrecked Sound and Laser Show that tells the tragic and dramatic tale of one of Australia’s most famous wrecks, the Loch Ard.

A short drive west of Warrnambool is the dormant volcano at Tower Hill. This native wonderland is home to koalas, kangaroos and emus who roam the picnic ground. Local Aboriginal guides provide fascinating insights and tailored tours about bush tucker, fauna and geology – an authentic indigenous experience for visitors.

The charm and style of the historic seaside village of Port Fairy is just 20 minutes west of Warrnambool, where verandah-lined streets and historic buildings house a plethora of galleries, cafés and boutiques.

Enjoy a bird’s eye view of the spectacular Great Ocean Road coastline with a helicopter flight over the Twelve Apostles, or take a walk on the wild side on the Great Ocean Walk.

Warrnambool offers something for everyone to enjoy.
