and the oscar goes to ... - petros michailidis
DESCRIPTION
During a MEDEAnet webinar on 22 November 2012, Petros Michailidis (5th Primary school of Alexandroupolis, Greece) presented the eTwinning project 'And the Oscar goes to ...' for which he collaborated with teacher Christelle Vouillot and her pupils of the Ecole Primaire de Rolampont in France. This collaborative project won the MEDEA Award for User-Generated Educational Media 2012 and gave primary school pupils the opportunity to skills and competences to create their own videos on several subjects in collaboration with pupils in another country: language learning, mathematics, social and science studies, art, English, ICT, as well as for learning attitudes like how to handle bullying. They learned to express themselves in other ways beside the traditional written and oral communication. This webinar was part of the MEDEAnet webinar series 'Meet the MEDEA Awards 2012 finalists', sharing good practices on producing and using educational media.
