Road Traffic Code 2000Stopping for circular yellow signal
1) When the yellow light is illuminated, the driver shall not proceed beyond the stop line, unless the driver is so close to the stop line that it is unsafe to do so.
2) If the driver cannot stop in accordance with the above, the driver shall stop before entering the intersection, if safe to do so.
3) If the driver cannot adhere to the above two, then the driver shall leave the intersection as soon as it is safe to do so.
