INTRODUCTION

 

This project mainly focuses on the controlling of home appliances remotely and providing security.

When the user is away from the system ,This system provides ideal solution to the problems faced by home owners in daily life.

Home appliance control system (HACS) is based on Bluetooth technology and remotely controlled solution for automation of home has been introduced.

BLUETOOTH

Bluetooth is a wireless technology designed as a short range, low power connectivity solution for small peripheral, portable, and electronic devices like mobile phones, printer, keyboards etc.

Bluetooth is now days a major technology for Adhoc networks. It can also be used in “infrastructure based” wireless communication system.

Bluetooth uses 2.4 GHz unlicensed radio frequency for communication

Liquid crystal display

LCD displays utilize two sheets of polarizing material with a liquid crystal solution between them.

By carefully controlling where and what wavelength (color) of light is allowed to pass, the LCD monitor is able to display images.
